Congratulations to all of the teams that competed at the 2012 Odyssey of the Mind World Finals! We had six teams representing our region at the tournament, and two of those teams even placed in the top 10.
We are especially proud to announce that the team from Forestville Elementary received a Ranatra Fusca award for exceptional creativity for their spontaneous solution. Here is a brief description:
This team exhibited risk-taking by creatively incorporating the team members’ body positions to extend and support their spontaneous solution—even lifting one team member completely off the ground for an extended period of time. This allowed the team to reach its goal in a very unique way.
